When the Field Was Too Full, Heaven Wasn't
You don’t need to make it down to the field to accept Jesus. You can do that right here.” Those were the words a Teen Challenge Ministry Institute (TCMI) student spoke to a 12-year-old boy outside Angel Stadium after the Harvest Crusade. The boy was in tears, thinking he’d missed his chance to meet God when the altar call filled up. But God had a different plan. As the crowd poured out, that student knelt beside him, prayed, and led him to Christ right there on the sidewalk—showing that Jesus meets us right where we are.
Years earlier, that same student had stood in that very place as a boy. Seeds planted then survived addiction, were watered by grace, and grew into a calling to rescue others. “I just saw myself in that kid,” he shared. This is the heart of Teen Challenge—the rescued rescuing others. One transformed life leading another home to Jesus.
