PRAYERS NOT PROTESTING = SAVED BABIES

Gorgeous sun shining morning, beautiful heartfelt worship being sung, whispered prayers filling the cool air- The only thing not making this a perfect morning was where this group  of Christians were standing- in front of an abortion center in the heart of Orange County. 

The juxtaposition of what felt like an out door church service of over 100 people and a dirty parking lot with cars and people going in and out of a planned parenthood was quite the stark contrast. Praising the name of Jesus outside of a building that is established to destroy His image bearers was a startling and initially awkward scenario to be a part of. 

Despite all of these seemingly conflicting backdrops, somehow it also felt right to be there. 

Love Life (lovelife.org) is a Christian organization that teaches the Church how standing for life doesn’t have to be a protesting or political issue. They explained and coached us through how prayer and worship is vital in pulling down the spiritual darkness that was felt when we first arrived in front of that abortion center. The Holy Spirit heard our prayers and praise. The atmosphere ACTUALLY SHIFTED a short time after we got there. You could see the countenance of the men and women going in and out of the building change. 

As our group prayed through a few focused and intentional prayer points, Love Life outreach people handed out flyers and lovingly shared hope and help to all who came and went, in Jesus’ name. 

Prayer and praise to King Jesus- not protesting- saves lives 

In the short 30 mins we were in front of that planned parenthood, we quite literally saw 2 women decide to keep their babies instead of abort. Just because the Church showed up in love. 

Love Life also helps these women and families through whatever difficult decisions they may be facing with dignity, truth, and love. 

My idea of being a ProLife Christian has been forever changed after attending a Love Life prayer walk! You have to come and see!!

We meet at Pearson Park in Anaheim the 2nd Saturday of every month. The prayer walk goes from 9am – 10:30am.
