60th Annual Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast

COME JOIN US AT THIS YEAR’S 60th ANNUAL MAYOR’S PRAYER BREAKFAST AT THE IRVINE MARRIOTT!

Orange County, CA – Orange Coast Christian Outreach today announced that Robert Pelinka, General Manager and President of the Los Angeles Lakers NBA Basketball team, will be the Keynote Speaker for its upcoming Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast.

Pelinka is a top American Basketball Executive and former sports agent who represented superstars Kobe Bryant, Derrick Williams, and Kevin Durant.

This will be the 60^th Annual Orange Coast Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on Friday, September 12^th, at the Marriott Irvine Hotel, from 7-9 am.

Local Orange County Mayors are invited and will speak briefly, in addition to special music and a full breakfast served.

This is a great opportunity to meet and network with leaders in Orange County and gather together with those who share a common faith or want to learn more about Christianity.

About the Breakfast

Government, religious, and civic leaders will gather for the Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast to pray for America’s leaders.

All faiths or people of no faith at all are invited to attend this special event.
The Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast was designed after the annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., first held by President Eisenhower in 1953.  The event originated as a time of personal reflection and re-dedication to God, as well as an opportunity to restore and reaffirm the spiritual heritage of America.  The Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast echoes these objectives through prayer, word, and song.
