Todd Nettleton with Voice of the Martyrs joined Theresa on “In the Studio” to speak on the Day of the Christian Martyr coming up on Sunday, June 29, 2025. During the interview, he mentions a man named Ibrahim, the evangelist martyred for sharing the Gospel.

Ibrahim Mohammed’s story is one of remarkable faith and courage. In 2021, he gave his life to Jesus in a predominantly Muslim community of Oromia, Ethiopia. Eager to share his newfound faith, Ibrahim began spreading the Gospel and led 80 individuals to Christ within a year.

His dedication went beyond evangelism as he devoted himself to discipling these new believers. However, his boldness came with serious risks. Ibrahim faced death threats from local Islamic militants but continued to stand firm in his faith, believing in the importance of his mission.

Ibrahim’s journey serves as a powerful reminder of the strength that faith can provide in adversity. His story encourages us all to share love and hope, demonstrating that even in challenging circumstances, one person’s commitment can inspire and transform lives.
