Hold your breath. In our study of Revelation 8, we learn that in between the sixth and seventh seal, the Lord Jesus Christ causes all of heaven, hell, and earth to stand still. There is silence in heaven for about half an hour. God’s patience is not exhausted—He still gives the opportunity for repentance. But then judgment that clearly only God could orchestrate.
