2025 in Review

God’s faithfulness to His Word never ceases to amaze our THRU the BIBLE team! At the end of each year, we look back and are filled with wonder to see not only the breadth of impact, but the depth of God’s work in the lives of so many across the world.

Here are just a few highlights of God’s work through your faithful partnership in prayer and financial support this year:

India Bible Quiz. Imagine more than 100,000 people studying Dr. McGee’s teaching of the book of Proverbs in their languages, then gathering at over 4,500 testing centers across India at the same time. This month, I will present an award to the national winner at a ceremony in Chennai, India with thousands of participants.  

Ethiopia Home Groups. A simple training in early 2024 has launched a movement of more than 6,000 THRU the BIBLE Radio Home Groups. There is a tremendous hunger for God’s Word and many thousands are responding.

Study Apps hit a milestone. We praise God that as we close 2025, we now have 100 different THRU the BIBLE Study Apps being used in almost every country on earth (see page 11 for more info). Each app has the entire Bible in text and audio, along with the full 5-year TTB audio teaching in that language. This technology is a “game changer,” because people can now study THRU the BIBLE in their language literally anywhere on earth.

Liberia ministry expands. God is moving powerfully in this West African country. Players distributed to pastors and church leaders have launched new THRU the BIBLE Radio Home Groups. Also, as a result, a new station is being launched that will reach Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone. A new TTB language, Kissi, is being developed for the station, and the president of Liberia sent a video greeting thanking THRU the BIBLE for coming to his country!

Home Group expansion in Pakistan. In the fifth most populous country in the world, with more than 241 million people, THRU the BIBLE Radio Home Groups are expanding and we are developing systematic teaching in new languages such as Punjabi, Saraiki, and Kalashi.

Uganda ministry impact. I was privileged to visit Uganda to help launch a brand-new broadcast ministry in Luo, spoken by over 4 million people in northern Uganda. After only one month on the air, we met dozens of pastors who are thrilled to have THRU the BIBLE in their language. We then traveled to the West and celebrated the completion of the first 5-year broadcast of the Runyakitara language.  

Home Group expansion in Bangladesh. With 175 million inhabitants, 91% of whom are Muslim, Bangladesh is the eighth most populous country in the world. This year, God expanded our network of thousands of THRU the BIBLE Radio Home Groups in the languages of Chakma, Garo, Lusi, and Garo-Abeng. These languages have never had a systematic study of the Word of God. We can’t wait to hear how lives are transformed for eternity. 

While it is exciting to hear about the growth of new languages, new broadcasts, and new Radio Home Groups, we must never forget that each of these initiatives has the power to transform lives in significant ways. Here is one of thousands of amazing stories we’ve heard over the past year:

“As we sat beneath the shade of a small tree, one of the pastors smiled and leaned forward. ‘Did you hear about the new church in Methewan (Kenya)?’ he asked. I hadn’t. But as they began to speak, I sat in awe. The church had not been planted through a crusade or a mission team. It had started with a radio signal, with a family listening to the TTB-Turkana program. They shared it with neighbors. Others gathered. They started praying together, studying together. And before long, they were a church family. What began as words from a distant studio became a spiritual home in Methewan.

“Another pastor stood and gently held up a small radio. It was worn and scratched, but it still worked. ‘This,’ he said, ‘is one of our teachers. During our seminars, revivals, and even Sunday services, we play Thru the Bible.’”

This is why all of us work together to bring Dr. McGee’s systematic teaching to everyone on earth—because God is building something for eternity, and we get the unspeakable privilege of playing our part. Thank you for another great year of service to the King of kings!
