Meet the Filmmaker

Nathan Deming is an award-winning writer and director from the Midwest who studied filmmaking with renowned director Mike Leigh at the London Film School. In addition to his feature films, Deming is creating an ambitious documentary series called the Year Project, a decades-long exploration of life in his home state of Wisconsin through the changing months of the year. Winter Hymns is his second feature-length film.
