Ministry Is Not Easy, but It Is Straightforward When Following the Basics
Basics 2026 is a conference hosted by Alistair for pastors, church leaders, ministry workers, and seminary students. This year’s conference will take place September 29-30 at Crossroads Community Church in Valencia, California. The theme of the 2026 event is “The Pastor’s High Calling.” Alistair and special guest Hershael York will address Christ’s help in four areas: the under-shepherd’s preaching strengthened by Christ’s presence, his character shaped by Christ’s heart, his mind guarded by Christ’s wisdom, and his teaching bound by Christ’s doctrine. Pastor and Truth For Life program host Bob Lepine and Crossroads Senior Pastor Todd Smith will also participate.
Registration is $200. Student registration is $100.
